Compare Scenarios in an Investment Plan

A maximum of seven scenarios (or versions) of an Investment Plan can be created to provide alternatives or comparisons to the Primary Scenario. Two different comparison reports can be created, the Detailed Comparison and the Comparison Summary.  These reports can be generated independently in the Forecast page or included in the final output report.

To Compare Scenarios on the Forecast page:

1. Click the Compare Scenarios button on the toolbar
2. Select the individual Scenarios to compare or select Compare All
3. Click OK
4. The new Scenario Comparison window displays. In the View drop-down menu:
   1. Select Table to view the Detailed Comparison report or
   2. Select Illustration to view the Comparison Summary report
5. To print the report, click Print Report

To include Comparison reports in the final output report:

1. Begin in the Forecast page and click the Compare Scenarios button on the toolbar
2. Select the individual Scenarios to compare or select Compare All
3. Click OK.
4. The new Scenario Comparison window displays. Close out of the window as it will not affect the final output report
5. Continue to the Reports page to include either report in the output
