The Billing Summary report in Morningstar Office shows a client what fees they owe for which accounts over a particular time period. You can generate a Billing Summary for an individual client, group or account, or generate multiple billing summaries at once using batch reporting. Before generating the Billing Summary report, be sure you have generated the fee data for your practice. See page 38 for details if you have not already done this.
Note: If a client's existing Billing Summary does not seem correct, you can delete it and re-run it. When you re-run the Billing Summary, if you elect to overwrite existing management fee data, any manual billing items you created (via the New Billing icon) will be deleted. Therefore, prior to deleting a Billing Summary, you should make a note of any manual billing items in case you need to re-create them.
