Your data entered in Morningstar Office is backed up every 30 minutes. Our storage has high redundancy and fault tolerance in place.

RESTORATION POLICY
If a data loss occurs due to errors on Morningstar’s side, Morningstar will make every reasonable effort to restore the data free of charge.
If an Authorized User deletes his or her data by accident and wants Morningstar to restore the deleted data, the following policy will apply:
If the Authorized User calls Morningstar within 24 hours after the deletion occurs, Morningstar will attempt to restore the deleted data and will do so free of charge. Every Authorized User is eligible for one such free restoration every calendar quarter. For any subsequent restoration attempt(s) requested during that same calendar quarter, Morningstar will charge for its services at the rate of $300 per man-hour.
If the Authorized User calls Morningstar more than 24 hours after a deletion, Morningstar will attempt to restore the deleted data but will charge for its services at the rate of $300 per man-hour.
Morningstar estimates that, on average, the amount of time involved in attempting to restore a data deletion is between 2 and 3 man-hours.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Morningstar reserves the right to change this policy at any time without notice by distributing and/or posting a new Data Restoration Policy. We encourage you to review our Data Restoration Policy on a regular basis so that you will be aware of any changes to it.
