To add holdings to a quick account:
In the left navigation pane, click Portfolio Management. The Portfolio Management area opens.
In the left-hand column, click Accounts. The Accounts spreadsheet opens.
Double-click the account to which you want to add holdings. The account opens and defaults to the Holdings Summary screen. All the holdings are listed.
From the toolbar menu above the grid, click Add Holding. The Holdings Entry screen opens.
Choose the type of holding you want to add, then click the appropriate tab. Stock/Fund is the default tab.
You can enter assets one-at-a-time directly on the screen.

You can enter multiple holdings at once. Click +Add Multiple. The Add Holdings dialog opens.
Find and select the desired holdings and click OK. You return to the Holdings Entry dialog.
Click Enter By to select if you are going to enter holdings by share or dollar amount. The default is Shares.
Fill in the holdings spreadsheet with Number of Shares or Amount ($), and Price ($). (If Morningstar tracks the holding, the price field will auto-populate.)
When you are done adding holdings, click Finish. You are taken back to Holdings Summary, which includes the new holdings.
