Adding transactions to transactional accounts

  1. In the left navigation pane, click Portfolio Management. The Portfolio Management area opens.

  2. In the left-hand column, click Accounts. The Accounts spreadsheet opens.

  3. Double-click the account to which you want to add transactions. The account opens to the Holdings Summary page.

  4. In the left-hand pane, click Transactions. The Transactions spreadsheet opens.

  5. From the Action Shortcuts tool bar, click +New Transaction. The Transactions blotter opens.

  6. You can add transactions directly in the blotter by clicking your mouse in the appropriate columns and entering data there. Or, you can use the Transaction Wizard.

Note: Transactions will not be posted to the account until you click Post to Account from the blotter or from the wizard.
