Using the Data Filter

In each transactional account, you can view all transactions of a certain type individually, or all transactions for a certain time period. For example, if you wanted to look at all of an account's distributions, you can do that. And, if you wanted to look at all transactions for the past month, you can do that too.

  1. In the left navigation pane, click Portfolio Management. The Portfolio Management tab opens.

  2. In the left-hand column, click Accounts. The Accounts spreadsheet opens.

  3. Double-click on the account for which you want to view transactions. The account opens and defaults to the Holdings Summary screen. All the holdings are listed.

  4. In the left-hand column, click on Transactions. The Transactions view opens and lists all securities and their transactions.

  5. On the Action Shortcuts tool bar, click . The Data Filter dialog opens.

  6. In the Transaction Type box, click the magnifying glass icon. The Select Transaction(s) dialog box opens.

  7. In the Available Records box, select the transaction types you want to view. You can select them by either double-clicking the type name, or highlight the transaction types and click . The selected transaction types will move to the Selected Records box.

  8. Click OK. You return to the Data Filter dialog. If you want to limit your filter to a specific time period, enter the appropriate parameters in the Start Date and End Date boxes. (Format mm/dd/yyyy)

  9. Click . You return to the Transactions view and the specified transactions are displayed.
