The account number associated with the client or portfolio. When the Mask Account Number option is turned on, some values within the account number are replaced with asterisks. Masking the account number inserts a level of security when reports are e-mailed to clients or uploaded to the Web via the Client Web Portal.
The masking of an account number is based on the number of characters in the account number.
