Groups Overview

Located under the Portfolio Management tab, the Groups page provides access to previously created grouped accounts. You can add additional groups, and edit or delete existing groups from this page.

Groups are like composites; they allow you to group accounts together so you can run performance reports on the included accounts. Groups are less restrictive than composites, in that an account can be assigned to any number of groups. Use Groups for consolidating accounts with multiple owners into one 'household'. For example, if you import accounts that have multiple owners (e.g., spouses, children, etc.), the accounts may get imported as separate clients. So the groups would be a way to get aggregate performance for the entire household.
