Face Value - The face value amount is calculated by multiplying the Par Value x Shares.
To find the Par Value, go to the Holdings Summary page within the account, right-click on the security from the grid, and select Edit Security. The Par Value field is located under the Detail tab. The value here is usually 1 or 1,000.
Shares can be found by running a Portfolio Current Value report with the same as of date used to run the Amortization & Accretion Report. To run the Portfolio Current Value report, open the account and then from the top menu select Reports, Portfolio Current Value, By Security. Shares are equivalent to the Units column on this report.
