The Global Fund Report is not available for all mutual funds. There are three ways to determine which funds have the Global Fund Report: running a security search, editing the research view or editing an account's holdings summary.
Run a Search
To perform a security search on Global Fund Availability, do the following:
In the left navigation pane, click Research. The Research area opens.
In the left-hand column, click Open End Funds. The Open End Funds area opens.
Double-click United States Mutual Funds. The universe opens.
On the toolbar, click the Search icon. The Search dialog box opens.
Click on the Click here to start a new search link in line 1 of the Field Name column. A list of groupings or "categories" appears.
Under Snapshot, scroll down and click Global Fund Report Availability.
The Operator box is auto-populated with = which is what we want.
Click in the Value field and select Yes.
Click OK. All funds with Global Fund Reports available appear in the grid view.
To view the Global Fund Report, right-click the fund name and select Reports > Global Fund Reports.
Edit the Research View
To add the Global Fund Availability column to the US Mutual Funds grid view, do the following:
In the left navigation pane, click Research. The Research area opens.
In the left-hand column, click Open End Funds. The Open End Funds area opens.
Double-click United States Mutual Funds. The universe opens.
On the toolbar, click the Edit View icon. The Select Data Points dialog box opens.
In the Available Data Points box, scroll to the bottom of the list and double-click Global Fund Report Availability to add it to the Selected Data Points box.
Click OK. You are returned to the grid view.
Scroll all the way to the right to view the Global Fund Report Availability column.
Note: You can double-click the column header to sort on this data point.
Edit the Holdings Summary View
To add the Global Fund Availability column to the Holdings Summary of an account, do the following:
In the left navigation pane, click Portfolio Management. The Portfolio Management area opens.
In the left-hand column, click Accounts. The Accounts area opens.
Double-click an account name to open the account in a new window.
From the Holdings Summary, click the Edit View icon. The Select Data Points dialog box opens.
Click the Universe drop-down field and select Open End Funds.
In the Available Data Points box, scroll down and double-click Global Fund Report Availability to add it to the Selected Data Points box.
Click OK. You are returned to the grid view.
Scroll all the way to the right to view the Global Fund Report Availability column. It will indicate whether any of the holdings in the account have the report.
