Setting a custom benchmark as the default for your practice

You can set a custom benchmark as the default for your practice.

1. From the global Tools menu, point to Settings, then click Set Default Benchmark. The Select user benchmark box opens.

2. In the Default Benchmark line, click the magnifying glass icon. The Select Benchmark box will appear.

3. Click the Within arrow, and select Custom Benchmark.  

4. In the box underneath Find By, type the name of the custom benchmark you want to use as your practice default and click . (To get a list of all your custom benchmarks, simply click without typing anything.)

5. Highlight the custom benchmark you want, and click OK. You will return to the Select user benchmark box and your selected custom benchmark will appear in the Default Benchmark line.

6. Click OK. Your practice's default benchmark is the selected custom benchmark.

Note: Default user benchmark does not apply to hypothetical illustrations.
