Assigning a Benchmark to a Model Portfolio

1. In the left navigation pane, open either the Investment Planning or Workspace tabs, then select Model Portfolios, Static Model or Variable Model.

2. Double-click the model portfolio you want to rename. The model portfolio opens and you land on the Holdings Summary screen.

3. To assign a benchmark to a Static Model Portfolio:

   1. In the left-hand column, click Profile/Settings and then Model Setup.

   2. Click the drop-down menu associated with Benchmark and choose Select Benchmark.

   3. Follow steps 5 - 9.

   4. Click OK to save your changes to the model.

4. To assign a benchmark to a Variable Model Portfolio:

   1. In the left-hand column, click General Settings.

   2. Click the drop-down menu associated with Benchmark 1 and choose Select Benchmark.

   3. Follow steps 5 - 9.

   4. Click Save to save your changes to the model.

5. Click the Within arrow to select the universe from which you are choosing the benchmark.

6. Click the Find By arrow to select either Name or Ticker (if applicable).

7. In the Find box, type the name or ticker and click Go. Matching items appear in the Available Records box.

8. Highlight your desired benchmark.

9. Click OK. The benchmark is assigned to the model portfolio.

10. Close the model window to return to the grid and see your changes.
