Generate Fee Data

You can generate fee data at one of three levels: Client, Group, or Account. It is important to create a billing statement at the same level for which you generated fees. For example, if you generate fee data for a client's individual accounts and then create a billing statement for the client, the statement will not pick up the fees you just generated at the account level. The proper procedure is to generate fee data for the client and then run an account statement for that client.

However, if you want that client's accounts to use different management fees, you must first set the fees at the account level and then select the Individual Account fee methodology at the client level.

You should only generate fees at the account level if you are going to create a billing statement for that individual account only.
