Click the Billing Type arrow to select Management Fees.
In the Client Name box, click the magnifying glass icon to select the client this management fee item is for. The Select Client dialog opens. Select the client.
In the Date box, enter (or use the calendar icon to select) the date the charge item occurred.
In the Billable Balance box, enter the billable balance for this management fee item. Numeric with up to seven digits and two decimals.
In the Effective Rate box, enter the effective rate for management fee charged to this client. Numeric with up to five digits and two decimals.
In the Amount box, the total fee will be displayed. (Calculated based on balance, rate, and discount.)
Click the Discount Method arrow to select the method used to discount the fee. The default is None. (If you select By Amount, you will need to enter the Discount Amount. If you select By Percent, you will need to enter the Discount Rate. The entered Discount Amount or Discount Rate will change the number listed in the Amount Box.)
In the Description box, enter the description of this management fee.
To save this management fee and enter a new billing, click . To save this management fee and close out of the dialog box, click

Note: Management fees are fees collected for the management of clients’ assets. They can be asset-based or flat, and they can be generated by using the management fee settings or manually entered by the user.
