In this dialog, you will identify the threshold values for Cash, US Stock, Non-US Stock, Bond, and Other (% or $) in this portfolio.
In the Account box, the name of the account that you accessed the dialog from is displayed. (If you accessed this dialog from the general Alerts area of Portfolio Management, click the magnifying glass icon to select the account.)
Click the E-mail notification drop-down and select Yes or No. The default is No.
Click The Recurring drop-down and select Yes or No. The default is No.
Click The Delete Triggered Alert drop-down and select Never or After 3 months. The default is Never.
The Rule Level and Rule Type columns are pre-populated with Portfolio. (Holding-level alerts are in development.)
Click in the Field column on the first row. A drop-down box opens with two subsets: Allocation % and Allocation $. Here you will select either the percent or dollar allocation that you have set as the threshold, which, if crossed, will generate an alert.
Click the Operator arrow to select < or >.
In the Value column, enter the % or $ value of the threshold. (The Apply To column is not used for portfolio-level alerts. This column will be activated when we bring you holding-level alerts.)
Repeat on subsequent lines to enter more alerts for this portfolio.
When you are done, click Save. You return to the Alert Settings screen and the new alert rule is displayed.
