From the Tools menu, go to Calculators, then click College, Retirement, Savings, or Roth IRA Conversion. The dialog box for the selected calculator appears.
Note: The purpose of the Roth IRA Conversion calculator is to help determine whether it is beneficial to convert a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA. Tips for completing the calculator fields can be found by hovering over the circled question mark next to each field. Example:
From the Solve for drop-down menu, select the result you want to solve for.
Enter the information in the fields under the Expected Circumstances fields.
Click the Calculate button to determine the results. They appear under the Results section.
Notes:
All spaces must be filled in, or we won’t be able to calculate the results.
Enter numbers in the spaces provided. Do not enter letters, spaces, or symbols (such as decimal points or dollar signs).
To modify the results of the calculator, type in new numbers and click Calculate again.
