Data point lists can be used to select data points when creating output. By creating a custom data set, you do not need to re-create the data point list every time a chart is generated.
Click Workspace on the main window, and then click Data Sets. On the Action bar, click New.
Select a Universe. The List drop down populates with data point lists applicable to the selected universe.
Select a data list. The data points included in the list display in the box below.
Select data points and click Add to include in your new list. Use the Remove and arrow buttons to arrange the data points.
To change general or calculation settings, select a data point and click Settings. Calculation settings can be changed only for certain data points.
Click OK. A new window opens with the data.
To save the data point list, click Save or Save and Close.
