Enhanced Portfolio Statistics |
Morningstar is modifying our portfolio statistics to incorporate the economic impact of short positions and derivatives. The implementation for this project has been changed from March month-end to May month-end in order to give fund families more time to comply with the reporting template and to allow clients to prepare to accept data in the new format. The template and methodology have been updated with the new timeline, but otherwise the content is the same. There will be small schema changes for Licensed Data Feeds in order to deliver both long and short statistics for funds. On March 13 and 14, Morningstar will host Web-based interactive meetings for U.S. clients to discuss the methodology and the required schema changes. Invitations will be sent out shortly. If you cannot attend, please contact your relationship manager to receive the new schema and test files. |
