Global Settings

Global Settings in the File menu define settings on the application level.

4General

Paging breaks control the number of rows displayed at one time in lists of items in windows and dialogs. Increasing the number of rows displayed at once may impact browsing speed. Other settings include decimal places, PDF orientation (does not affect pre-defined PDF reports and charts), benchmark, and risk-free proxy.

The global currency setting applies the default currency to all situations where a currency is not otherwise specified. Currency may also be set at a universe/investment list/search criteria or data point level. Changing the global currency setting will not affect saved currency settings unless Global Currency is the saved setting.

Using the Default universe dropdown, choose which universe will initially display in dialog dropdowns.

4Data Tree

Data Tree settings allow you to specify a regional set of data points for each universe. The default for each universe is the set of data points across all regions. To select a specific region, click the Universe and then select the region from the Data tree list. The selected region will be applied to the Views in Search Criteria, the Search Criteria dialog, and the Select Data Points dialog.
