This allows you to do analysis on a distinct portfolio basis or, in other words, to include only the parent share class. For a single share class fund, this field is equal to True. For a multiple share class fund, the oldest share class has True while the other share classes are False. The parent share class is the oldest. If there is a tie in tenure, the parent share class is chosen in the following order:
