To add parentheses to a search

1. Determine which line of search criteria needs an open parenthesis and which line needs a close parenthesis.

2. On the line that needs an open parenthesis, find the column between the Rel and Field Name columns in the Search dialog with the "(" heading. Click in this column. Type (.

3. On the line that needs a close parenthesis, find the column with the ")" heading after Value. Click in this column. Type ).

4. Click Run Search to test the search.
