The Document Library, located under the Home tab, is a central repository where you can view annual reports, prospectuses, statements of additional information, and other SEC filings associated with investments. These documents can be viewed in plain text or PDF format. You can also view methodology papers and definitions for data points that appear in Morningstar Office.
Under the Document Library folder, click Public Documents.
Select from Fund Documents, Corporate Reports, or Institutional Filings.
Under the Fund Documents drop-down, select a single universe (Mutual Funds, Closed-end Funds, etc.) or select All Universes.
Your search can then be refined by using the drop-down boxes at the top of the grid.
Click on the Prospectus link to view the document associated with the investment.
Click on the Corporate Reports link to view various public documents related to the investment.
Your search can then be refined by using the drop-down boxes at the top of the grid.
Open the document by clicking on the link under the Last Document Type column.
Under the Institutional Filings drop-down, select RIAs or Pensions and Endowments.
Your search can then be refined by using the drop-down boxes at the top of the grid.
Open the document by clicking on the link under the Last Document Type column.
Use the Search box to look for an investment based on CUSIP, Ticker, Security Name, or Morningstar Security Identifier, etc..
To print a report, click CTRL+P while viewing the document window. The Print dialog box opens.
Under the Document Library folder, click Definitions.
Use the drop-down menus at the top to refine your search. When you have made your selections under the drop-down menus, click Go. Document found matching your search criteria are displayed in the grid.
Click the Name of the document you want to view.
To print a report, click CTRL+P while viewing the document window. The Print dialog box opens.
The < > arrows located at the top can be used to navigate backward and forward through previously displayed pages or search grids.
